Chairman's Reserve Legacy is a tribute to Laurie Barnard, longtime chairman of St. Lucia Distillers, and his major contribution to the development and success of the house. Chairman's Reserve Legacy is a blended rum made from rums distilled on a John Dore pot still, a Vendome pot still and a Coffey still. In addition to the usual molasses rums, rums made from sugarcane juice are also used, lending the blend a fresh touch – a hallmark that traces back to Barnard's own sugarcane cultivation around the distillery.
