834 kilometers lie between the Upper Bavarian foothills of the Alps and the North Sea island of Sylt.
And you won't believe what connects the two places: a genuine passion for whisky.

On the one hand, Sylt - which has historically been handed down as Sild - offers us a unique storage location for the real Sylter SILD single malt whiskeys with its beautiful coastal landscape, rough sea, miles of sandy beaches and the mighty cliff edges.
After the success of the pioneering project SILD "Crannog", probably the only single malt whisky in the world that is stored in a ship at sea, the second Sylter SILD single malt whisky "Jöl en Reek" was created.
A single malt whisky, which is stored in a former bunker on the island of Sylt and is the only whisky with Sylt peat and malted barley to feel the harsh island climate.

On the other hand, the unique lake landscape in the Upper Bavarian foothills of the Alps, nestled between the snow-capped peaks and the natural forests, offers us the special opportunity to create unique whiskys.
The Lantenhammer distillers took up the new challenge and presented the new Bavarian SILD whiskey with the Bavarian malt whiskys SILD "Heritage 28" and SILD "Triple Cask" and the whisky liqueur SILD "Honey & Heather".
Range that marks the beginning of a new whisky era.

With the new Master Distiller Tobias Maier and the founders of this unusual project, the Bavarian whisky visionary Anton Stetter and the Sylter Alexander Sievers von Wein-Heiliger, SILD Whiskey stands for unique whiskys.

SILD Bavarian Pure Malt Whisky Heritage 28
SILD Heritage 28 embodies the spirit of whisky pioneer Florian Stetter, who in 1999 distilled the first single malt whisky in the copper stills of the traditional Lantenhammer distillery founded in 1928 on Schliersee in Bavaria.
With his courage he laid the foundation for SILD and premium whiskys from Germany.
SILD Heritage 28 reflects this pioneering spirit with its unique character in every drop.
Matured in handcrafted white oak casks, this 100% malt whisky meets the highest standards of our master distiller Tobias Maier, who lets the legacy live on with this pure malt whisky.

Nose: Complex aromas of ripe fruit, in combination with a lightly roasted oak aroma, allow the barley to develop ideally
Taste: full-bodied, intense and spicy taste
