Profile: What Makes Red Door Gin Special
An elegant, balanced dry gin from Benromach. Known for its single malt whiskies, Benromach proves it can also create a perfect gin. The gin is named after the distillery’s red doors and is made in small batches in a copper pot still called “Peggy” using vapour infusion. Besides the typical juniper berries, this gin contains heather, sea buckthorn and rowanberries – the special aroma comes from bitter orange. The sample makes it easy to get to know.
