Product information "Flor de Cana"
A rum that is truly climate-friendly - it starts with fair trade -traded sugar cane, it continues with a CO2-neutral distillation from 100% renewable energies, the Flor de Cana is bottled and packaged in recyclable materials.
The distillery Compañia Licorera de Nicaragua planted 50,000 trees since 2005.

Now finally to the rum - dhe is free from artificial additives and sugar.
A Strong, characterful rum with intense spicy notes, plus soft tones of toffee and some vanilla.
 
Nose: initially ripe plums and tropical fruits - then becoming spicier with aromas of nutmeg, Coriander and ground pepper
Palate: mouth-filling - again the fruit, then notes of dark chocolate, nuts and some vanilla follow - above all spicy hints
Finish: soft and long finish with roasted nuts, vanilla and d spicy oak wood
