Arrangé Coco Torréfié is one of four rums in the arrangé series from the Rivière du Mât distillery on La Réunion in the Indian Ocean. The recipe is based on the house’s own white rum, macerated coconuts and selected exotic spices. The rum is generous and complex, combines the aromatic power of rum with intense coconut notes and shows a strong amber colour with copper reflections.
The distillery was founded in 1886 in Saint-Benoît and is one of the oldest distilleries on the island still active. Its rums are made from molasses from sugar cane of the island; it is regarded as a leader in aged rums on La Réunion and in spiced rums in mainland France.
