Kintyre Botanical Gin Batch "Wildschwein" 43%vol. Sample 0,04l
On the Kintyre Peninsula, near Campbeltown, Torrisdale Castle is home to the legends of Tuirc Distillery who distill their Kintyre Gin.
As is typical of the Campbeltown distilleries (eg Springbank and Glen Scotia) and the peninsula, it is very close to the local community and its environment.
Since 1872, the property Torrisdale Castle is owned by the Macalister family. The required electricity has been generated by hydropower for several decades, using spring water from the mountains for this purpose.
The property includes approximately 1,200 acres of hill country (Beinn An Tuirc), forest and farmland overlooking the island of Arran.
The basis for this botanical gin is the fresh spring water from the mountains, distilled in a small copper bladder.
For each carton "Kintyre Gin" a tree is planted on the estate and a share donated to local charities.
The pot still, imported from Germany, holds 230 liters and is powered by electricity from its own hydroelectric power plant.
12 botanicals are used for this exclusive gin highlighting the coastal character and nature of Kintyres - Sorrel, Orris Root, Licorice, Lemon Peel, Juniper, Icelandic Moss, Coriander, Almonds, Pepper, Cinnamon, Bitter Orange Peel and Angelica Root
Individual numbering of the bottles by hand and mention of the batch are self-evident.
The batches are not simply numbered, but provided with different local terms of local dialect or country-specific vocabulary.
This batch with an edition of 816 bottles bears the name "Wildschwein" - actually a word common to Kintyre!
- Nose: light and floral in the aroma with hints of bitter orange and juniper berries
- Taste: harmonious with pleasantly spicy tones, with a slightly earthy note - above all fresh herbs and orange
- Finish: balanced and spicy finish

Boë Scottish Gin 41,5%vol. Sample 0,04l

Hendrick's Gin 44%vol. Sample 0,04l
"It is not for everybody!" - "Loved by a tiny handful of people all over the world"
"A most unusual gin!"
Distilled and bottled in Scotland
None other than William Grant & Sons, the fathers of Glenfiddich, Balvenie and Grant's, have brought all their knowledge together and created a unique, outstanding gin.
Gin is originally from Holland or Belgium.
The fact that the Scots master this art of distilling is more than clear here.
Hendrick's is made in small editions according to an old family recipe with many herbs, such as juniper, cilantro and lemon zest.
Unexpected and unusual is the influence of cucumbers and rose petals, which creates a gin that is extraordinary in every respect.
Hendrick's Gin has an intense and floral scent of violets and roses as well as harmoniously balanced juniper and coriander aromas.
Soft in the mouth and well balanced, the complexity of the nose is noticeable here as well, with fresh citrus and juniper aromas.
The finish is subtle and characterized by refreshing cucumber and roses.
Cape Fynbos Gin 45%vol. Sample 0,04l
Winner of the Gold Medal of the International Wine & Spirits Awards Michelangelo 2017

In collaboration with the "Wilderer Distillery" in Paarl, the Cape Fynbos Gin is distilled - from the finest white spirits in a small edition of forty liters each!
Use in this magnificent gin will find among others the Botanicals cloves, white pepper, honey, orange peel and wild fynbos
