Triple distilled, made from 100% malted barley and not chillfiltered. The characterful marriage of single malt and single pot still Irish whiskey convinces with notes of vanilla, grapes and a chocolate finish.
A combination of two differently matured whiskeys - one part matured in American ex-Bourbon oak barrels from Kentucky and the other part in French exCognac oak barrels from Allary Cooperage.
Bottled with 46%vol. Alcohol content, without chillfiltration and without coloring.
Nose: Aromas of sweet vanilla, with ripe plums and pear compote with cinnamon
Taste: soft and mild in taste with intense notes of fresh, ripe grapes, then citrus fruits and again a slight hint of vanilla
Finish: surprisingly spicy in the finish, the fruits take a back seat and make room for dark chocolate
