The whiskey is triple distilled, as is customary in Ireland, which gives it a special smoothness and purity. Two different Cask types were used for this bottling: ex American oak bourbon Casks from Kentucky and ex French oak cognac Casks, produced at the renowned Allary Cooperage. This combination brings structure and depth to the aging process.
Writers' Tears Double Oak is non-chill-filtered and non-colored to fully preserve the whiskey's natural characteristics and flavors.
