Veritas White Blended Rum
Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods:
- do not match the description;
- do not function as intended.
Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:
- free repair or free replacement;
- in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.

Profile: What Makes Veritas White Blended Rum Special
This is supposed to be a white rum? But Veritas has a slight colouring! That's right! This rum shows the whole truth – this is actually what white rum looks like; it only becomes the clear, white rum we're used to seeing after being filtered through activated charcoal. Veritas – a blended rum from the Barbados distilleries Foursquare and Hampden – forgoes exactly this filtration, as well as any added sugar. Veritas is a blended rum made from aged and unaged white rums from the Foursquare and Hampden distilleries. Foursquare uses traditional Coffey column stills, while Hampden relies on double retort pot stills. An excellently distilled blended rum from the house of Velier – outstanding for cocktails, but also a true pleasure neat.
Tasting Notes: What Veritas White Blended Rum Tastes Like
- Nose: Ripe banana and a touch of glue-like ester, typical of the Hampden component
- Palate: Balanced with a light sweetness from the Foursquare component – sharper and spicier with grapefruit zest, black pepper and lemon zest, with a creamy mouthfeel
