A spicy rum, matured in heavily burned barrels that give it the dark, almost black color (hence the name "Black Barrel").
Nose: spicy-sweet aromas - clearly cinnamon, vanilla and cloves, with ripe berries and caramel
Taste: rich and soft in the taste - sweet notes of ripe, tropical fruits, vanilla and cane sugar, above all exotic spices
Finish: long on the finish - again the sweetness and the spice, plus some licorice and oak wood
