Douglas Laing's 10-year-old Timorous Beastie made its debut in the first days of 2018 – in time for Burns Supper in February – since the little mouse recalls Robert Burns's poem “To a Mouse”, arguably Scotland's most famous poet. This blended malt Scotch whisky is a love letter to the Scottish Highlands – and so only single malt whiskies from the Highlands find their way into this little mouse! Distilleries such as Blair Athol, Glen Garioch, The Dalmore and Glengoyne are represented. The sample is ideal for an easy introduction to this sweet, balanced Highland blend.
