From the small Finnish distillery Teerenpeli comes this single malt whiskey stored exclusively in ex-Sherry casks.
Aroma: the sherry barrel is clearly recognizable - soft dried fruits, especially plums, raisins and figs, with soft toffee and nutty aromas - spicy oak and some cinnamon in the background
Taste: again clearly the sherry, sweet notes of the dried fruit - plums and figs, the nuts are also back, plus dark noble chocolate with green pepper and spicy oak
Departure: short in the finish, chocolate, sherry and oak hold the balance
