Pusser’s British Navy Rum in the Blue Label bottling follows the original blend of the British Admiralty. In the glass it shows a clear, mid-dark coppery amber with burnished copper highlights.
At 40% ABV it has an oily, rich body that carries potent flavours of demerara sugar, treacle, chocolate, oak and spice.
Tasting Notes: What Pusser’s Blue Label Tastes Like
- Nose: Pungent dark sugar, treacle, toffee, honey and vanilla with oak, cinnamon and nutmeg; classic Demerara sugar, molasses, dried fruit, island spices and caramel
- Palate: Full-bodied with molasses, bitter cacao, burnt caramel and dry spicy oak, plus treacle, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and espresso
