Profile: What Makes Dzama Cuvée Noire Prestige Special
The Cuvée Noire Prestige is a blend of rums from the Ambilobé and Namakia distilleries and ages three full years in the tropical climate of Nosy Be. Vanilla and ylang-ylang plantations grow on Nosy Be; the roots of the sugar cane intermingle with those of the vanilla, giving the rum particularly intense vanilla notes. In the sample it is easy to get to know.
The vanilla is stronger than in many flavoured rums. The rum is soft and full-bodied, with wood, cocoa and exotic fruit.

- Nose: Exotic aromas of vanilla, guava, plantain and citrus zest; soft and caramelised, like vanilla cookies
