Product information "Koval Single Barrel Bourbon 47%vol. 0,5l"
Koval's bourbon is a special feature - the corn content is at the required minimum of 51%, the rest of 49% is filled with the unusual for Whiskey and bourbon grain millet.
The millet and corn used are gluten-free and from organic farmers in the Chicago area.

Nose: distinctly fresh vanilla and tropical fruits - reminiscent of vanilla pudding
Taste: sweet and warm with hints of fresh fruit and orange - followed by caramel and milk chocolate
Finish: drier on the finish than expected with some charcoal and dried apricots

Unglücklicher Weise bin ich kein klassischer Bourbontrinker. Dieser hier, mit seinem Hirse-Anteil bis zur erlaubten Grenze von 49%, ist jedoch wirklich klasse. Er besitzt zwar den schweren typisch vanillig-holzigen Bourbongrundton, aber auch eine deutlich nussig-schokoladische Komponente.
