Profile: What Makes Gunroom Navy Gin Special
In the age of sail, the prerequisite for bringing alcohol aboard was a high strength – it had to be gunpowder proof. Gin or rum was stored in casks in the gunroom, because if a cask were spilled, the gunpowder still had to be ignitable – so the alcohol had to be strong, just like this navy gin at 57% ABV. Gunroom Navy Gin revives this old tradition, resting the gin in former whisky casks for two months before bottling. This maturation gives the gin an unmistakable softness, a round finish and sweet vanilla notes that blend with the orange peel and spices in the recipe. Sehr gut für Mixgetränke - für mich auch lecker zum "so"-Trinken!
Probiert doch einfach mal mit der Probiergröße - bei der nächsten Bestellung werde ich den Navy-Gin kaufen
