Aberlour bottles this single malt whisky without chill filtration. This means the whisky is filtered at normal ambient temperature through a metal sieve, so that only residue from the wood cask is caught; flavour carriers such as fats and oils remain in the whisky, supporting its aroma and flavour. The whisky matured in former sherry and bourbon casks.

Für seine 48% sehr milder, vielschichtiger und ausgewogener Whisky.

Durch die nicht gefilterten Fette wird dieser weiche Whisky vollmundiger. Eine gewisse Schärfe ist vorhanden.

Mein absoluter Lieblings- Whisky zu einem sehr guten Preis.
Die Lieferung erfolgte wie immer sehr schnell.

Eine schöne, empfehlenswerte Entdeckung, die deutlich exklusiver wirkt als es das Preissegment vermuten lässt. Er hat allerdings auch ziemlich Power, die Fass-Stärke ist nicht zu leugnen.
