Aberlour 16 year old Double Cask Matured
Aberlour is one of the creamiest malts ever, with a distinct sherry note and pronounced toffee character.
Aberlour dispenses with the usual wooden plugs for barrel storage and uses cork instead.
The cork plugs are intended to facilitate the evaporation of coarser flavorings, creating a softer whisky.
Nose: rich, dry floral and spicy aromas, with nuts
Taste: soft and full-bodied, sweet floral notes, spicy and pronounced plum, gentle oak notes
Finish: long and warm, spicy and slightly fruity

ein toller whisky, aber komischerweise haben der 12jährige von 2013 und der von 2014 etwas besser geschmeckt.
