Cardhu is a classic Speyside single malt with fruit and smoke. The malt is a fairly straightforward example of a Speyside whisky with a mild peaty influence; its light character makes it a good starting point. The sample makes it easy to get to know.

- Nose: Distinct apple and pear, restrainedly sweet with some smoke; golden honey, light floral and cereal tones, some citrus
