Profile: What Makes Pyrat XO Reserve Special
Pyrat XO Reserve is a premium rum-based spiced spirit – Caribbean rums are used. Matured in casks of French Limousin oak and American oak barrels. A spiced rum with aromas of vanilla, caramel, honey and cinnamon; very soft and gentle in taste and finish. The sample makes it easy to get to know.
It is sweet and fruit-forward, with bright citrus notes, and suits neat sipping as well as cocktails.
Tasting Notes: What Pyrat XO Reserve Tastes Like
- Nose: Sweet with molasses, toffee, citrus and spice; dried apricots, vanilla and caramel
- Palate: Orange, citrus and vanilla dominate a sweet, orange-peel palate; bold orange marmalade and dark honey, followed by tropical fruit, tobacco and warming ginger-cinnamon spice
- Finish: Smooth and light, with hints of ginger and cinnamon
