Portrait: What makes Bushmills 10 years old.
As early as 1608, Sir Thomas Phillips received the royal distilling rights. Bushmill's continued success to this day is due to its first-class, traditional work. All Bushmills malts are triple distilled. In the traditional way, the barley for the mash is completely omitted from drying over peat smoke.
This gives the Malt Whiskeys from Bushmills Distillery their typically soft and fruity character and tastes significantly less rough than Scottish malts. This is also the case with the Bushmills 10 Year Single Malt Whiskey!
It is made from 100% malted barley and matures for at least 10 years, predominantly in Bourbon Casks and a small amount in former Sherry Casks.

- Nose: very lively with a slight sweetness - clearly soft honey and ripe light fruits
- Palate: mouth-filling and soft - pleasantly malty with a sweet hint of vanilla and fine sherry Notes, above all pleasant notes of milk chocolate
- Finish: pleasantly dry and fresh in the long finish

Hallo,
als Einsteiger war ich auf der Suche nach einem Single Malt, der mir nicht gleich den Spaß vermiesen sollte.
Fündig geworden bin ich bei diesem wirklich milden Iren.
In der Beschreibung wurde auch nicht zu viel versprochen, sehr mild und angenehm im Geschmack, kein Brennen, kein Rauch, kein Torf, ich selber schmecke noch nicht einmal das Faß heraus.
Selbst meine Frau, die eigentlich keine "harten" Alkoholika mag, war sehr angetan vom BUSHMILLS 10.
