Amrut
Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods:
- do not match the description;
- do not function as intended.
Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:
- free repair or free replacement;
- in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.
Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

Profile: What Makes Amrut Indian Single Malt Special
Amrut was founded in 1948 in Bangalore, India. Amrut sources its barley from fields in northern India. The climate in Bangalore makes the whisky mature extremely quickly in the cask; evaporation is so high that the oldest Indian whisky to date is only twelve years old. Despite this comparatively short maturation, Amrut achieves a balanced malt that need not fear comparison with its Scottish relatives.
On 24 August 2004 Amrut launched the first single malt whisky made in India. Founder J.N. Radhakrishna Rao Jagdale had at first produced Indian Made Foreign Liquor; his son Neelakanta Rao Jagdale decided in 1982 to enter malt distillation.
Tasting Notes: What Amrut Indian Single Malt Tastes Like
- Nose: Confident notes of liquorice and bourbon in a near-perfect bittersweet balance; burnt honeycomb and toffee, plus powdered sugar, honey and marshmallows
- Palate: Great richness and sheen with the sweetness of barley and oak, liquorice and molassed sugar
- Finish: Long, layered – oak in variations of a sweet-dry theme, plus some cream toffee

War überrascht wie individuell dieser Tropfen doch ist. Von mir eine absolute Kaufempfehlung.

Sehr kräftiger Whisky, scharfer Abgang, nicht so mild und gehaltvoll wie man von einem Schotten es erwartet. Aber er ist halt auch ein indischer Whisky. Sicherlich auch eine Rarität in meiner Sammlung
