Profile: What Makes anCnoc 12 Year Old Special
Founded in 1894, the Knockdhu distillery supplied the base malt for the Haig blends for a long time. Knockdhu was closed in 1983, sold to Inver House in 1988 and brought back into operation a year later. The anCnoc 12 Year Old is a gentle, non-sherried malt with a floral-fruity aroma and enough structure on the palate.

- Nose: Soft and creamy, clear pineapple; plus honeysuckle, fresh flowers and citrus
- Palate: Now vanilla and soft caramel, very elegant with pleasant herbal notes; honey, red apples and toasted bread

Süßer, malziger Speysider, einfach und ohne Schnickschnack. Leichte Würze, recht kurzer Abgang, in Nase und Geschmack fruchtig und mild.
Unspektakulär, aber lecker, dazu ein gutes PLV.
