Even if there is no official answer to the question , which single malt is bottled under the name "The Ileach", rumors are increasing and consolidating that it is an Islay distillery in the southwest of the island.

- Nose: clearly peat, fresh herbs and grass - behind it salty sea air
- Palate: surprisingly soft in taste with lots of peat smoke and malt - plus peppery tones and some fruit
- Finish: long in the finish with clear sea salt, peat and iodine

Schmeckt sehr intensiv und mit ein paar Tropfen Wasser entfaltet er sein ganzes Aroma!

Unverkennbar aus Islay. Trotz der Fassstärke gut auch ohne Wasser zu genießen. Für den Preis wirklich prima. Er erinnert mich an alles, was ich an Islay liebe: Torf, Rauch, Seeluft, Seetang, hart aber dennoch herzlich.

Ausgezeichneter cask strength mit Islay-typischem Torfrauch. Ich selbst trinke ihn auch gerne unverdünnt in superkleinen Schlucken. Tolles Preis-Genuss Verhältnis.

Ich persönlich finde diesen Whisky absolut super. Rauchig und komplex. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhaältnis ist hier absolut Top!

Braucht, wie viele Whiskeys in Fasstärke Abfüllung, ein bisschen Wasser um sein volles Potenzial zu erhalten, dann aber sehr gut.

Nase: Schöner Rauch, süß und fruchtig.
Geschmack( mit Wasser): Süß, malzig, rauchig und ölig.
Abgang: Lang, Rauchig und süß würzig.
