Diageo Special Release 2024
From the stocks of over 30 Diageo distilleries, experienced experts have selected exceptional casks each year since 2001 that would otherwise remain hidden from the public – the Diageo Special Releases 2024 form the most recent instalment of this collection of rare cask-strength Scotch whiskies, published for over two decades.
The 2024 collection includes rare bottlings from Lagavulin, Talisker, and the lesser-known grain distillery Roseisle, among others. As this is a limited annual edition, the bottlings are only available while stocks last.

What are the Diageo Special Releases?
Since 2001, Diageo has published an annual, limited collection of especially rare single malts and grain whiskies, mostly bottled at natural cask strength, drawn from the stocks of over 30 distilleries – a continuation of the earlier "Rare Malts" programme of the 1990s. The series is considered one of the best-known and most eagerly awaited events in the entire Scotch whisky industry, regularly offering glimpses into casks from rarely bottled or even permanently closed distilleries.
What defines the 2024 edition?
The 2024 collection includes bottlings from Lagavulin and Talisker, as well as – as a particular rarity – the grain distillery Roseisle, whose whiskies are rarely released as standalone bottlings and are mostly used exclusively in blends.
