Every year - or almost every year, if the stars align - Glenfarclas presents a special Christmas Edition. Fired in the festive atmosphere of December, when tinsel was probably still in the air and the copper burner was being played with Christmas carols, this edition carries the spirit of the holidays within it.

The expression presented here was distilled in December 2015 and allowed to rest for more than nine years in the distillery's traditional dunnage warehouses – those charming, cool stone walls where time and patience still go hand in hand. Glenfarclas – which translates roughly as "Valley of the Green Grass" – has been owned by the Grant family since 1836. That alone is almost as rare in the whisky world as a snowman in Speyside. This independence allows Glenfarclas to continue producing whisky as it has been made for generations: honest, classic, and with a healthy dose of Scottish pride.
The Christmas Edition 2015/2025 comes at a robust drinking strength of 50% ABV, was matured in Oloroso sherry casks, is non-chill filtered, uncolored, and limited to 3,600 bottles – exclusively for Germany.
In short: A whisky that looks like it came straight from Santa's gift table – only with considerably more character and considerably less sugarcoating.
