Behind Scallywag is the independent family business Douglas Laing & Co. from Glasgow, which since 1948 has ensured that whisky not only tastes good, but also has personality. Scallywag, the charming fox terrier on the label, is not only the brand mascot, but also a small homage to the four-legged friends of the Laing family - with a touch of mischief in its neck.

In this edition, the whisky is made from 100% Speyside single malts - from one of Scotland's most renowned whisky regions - and was for the first time refined in rare ice wine casks from Eastern Europe. Sound unusual? It is. But hey, it's winter - it's okay to stand out a little.

At natural cask strength (52.4% vol.), uncolored, and non-chill-filtered, the Scallywag Winter Edition is as pure as a stroll through the snowy Highlands - only with significantly more character and fewer cold feet.
