777 Pastis Artisanal - this is not just a drink, but a declaration of love for the Seine, handmade in Le Le Havre, Normandy. The name says it all: 777 km of river romance, captured in a bottle. The man behind the project is Manuel Bouvier, who in 2021 decided to distill not only tradition but also environmental awareness in the fourth generation – a kind of green craftsmanship with a French accent. What goes into the bottle is anything but mass-produced. It starts with spring water directly from the Plateau de Langres – where the Seine is still fresh and unpolluted – and ends in an ultra-light 0.7-liter bottle that, at 565 g, can almost be used for jogging. Sustainable? Mais oui! Refillable, label-friendly for upcycling – and pretty to boot.

The whole thing is distilled in a German copper alembic by Müller – for extra aromatic power. And what's in it? A fine blend of anise, fennel, licorice, herbs, and blossoms. Sounds like a pharmacy cabinet, but tastes like a vacation in France.

In 2022, it even won the silver medal in Brussels – and all without much fuss. A real insider tip for connoisseurs with taste and a conscience. Santé!
