The Islay distillery Kilchoman is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025 with the exclusive 20th Anniversary Casks Series - a tribute to Anthony Wills' founding idea in 2005.
His goal: a return to traditional values ​​through a true farm distillery, where every step—from barley cultivation to malting and distilling, to maturation and bottling—takes place directly on Islay. This uncompromising implementation of the 100% Islay Philosophy makes Kilchoman unique.

To celebrate the anniversary, 20 casks were selected - symbolic of each year since its founding.
The 20 casks were carefully divided among four bottlings.This resulted in four special bottlings - two from selected former bourbon barrels and two from former sherry butts. The results are two 14-year-olds, one 15-year-old, and one 18-year-old single malt Scotch whiskies, the latter being the distillery's oldest single malt whisky to date. The bottlings impressively reflect Kilchoman's diverse craftsmanship and character - personally selected by founder Anthony Wills.

• Nose: soft and inviting with intense vanilla aromas, accompanied by sweet toffee, honey and a hint of baked banana - a subtle smokiness and maritime salt aromas provide depth and balance, plus fresh citrus accents and a hint of oak spice round off the bouquet
• Palate: full-bodied and complex with an elegant combination of creamy vanilla, caramel and roasted almonds - the bourbon cask brings notes of butterscotch and slightly spicy oak - the peat smoke typical of Kilchoman is well integrated and gives the taste structure without being dominant
• Finish: long and harmonious with persistent toffee and Vanilla notes - the smoke fades gently, accompanied by a fine sweetness and subtle oak spice - a balanced and elegant finish that reflects the 14 years of maturation
