The Irish Single Malt Whiskey was distilled on December 17, 2010 and initially matured for over 11 years in former Bourbon- and Oloroso Sherry Casks, on March 22, 2022, Master Blender Alex Thomas decided on a Finish in New American Oak Casks. The Bushmills 12 Years The Causeway Collection was bottled in 2023.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Bushmills 12 year old The Causeway Collection tastes like
- Nose: soft and round with pronounced aromas of fresh vanilla, ripe fruits and soft honey - behind it, spicier hints of freshly ground cinnamon and freshly cut oak wood
- Palate: mouth-filling and soft - at the beginning there are again the fruits, especially white peaches and fresh apples, followed by something Spicy and lots of dark chocolate
- Finish: long and fruity in the finish, now the oak wood and the spicy tones are clearer
