The first bottling of a 17-year-old Arrans, first bottled in 2023.
For this bottling, casks were selected in which Sherry and Bourbon was stored.
First and second filled Sherry Hogsheads and first filled Bourbon Casks were selected and married together and bottled in a total of 12,000 bottles worldwide.
The Single Malt Scotch was bottled Whisky without coloring and without chill filtration.
Tasting Notes: This is what the Arran 17 year old tastes like
- Nose: clear aromas of fresh green apples at the beginning, then the scent of a late summer orchard with slight hints of vanilla and roasted almonds
- Palate: soft and mouth-filling - the fruits fade into the background and give way to nutty notes, again the almonds and vanilla - then getting spicier with strong notes of cinnamon and cardamom - above all spicy oak
- Finish: long and warm on the finish with clear spicy tones, the fruits come back, especially apples and pears
