The first Bottling in Arran's new Signature Series, bottled in 2023.
For this bottling, barrels were selected in which sherry and bourbon were previously stored.
Sherry hogsheads and sherry butts were selected, as well as bourbon barrels - the barrels were blended together and bottled in a total of 14,863 bottles worldwide.
The single malt Scotch whiskey was bottled without coloring and without cold filtration.
Tasting Notes: This is how it tastes Arran Signature Series Edition 1 Remnant Renegade
- Nose: distinct warm aromas of red toffee apples and fresh oranges, paired with the scent of fresh vanilla beans and spicy cinnamon
- Palate: soft and mouth-filling - the fruits and sweetness fade into the background and make way for spicy notes of star anise and cinnamon, followed by hints of spicy heather honey and vanilla fudge
- Finish: very long and warm in the finish - clear tones of oak spice and fresh herbs, plus now the fruits again, especially ripe oranges
