The Jamaica XO 15 Year old is a rum distilled from molasses. The distillates come from the renowned distilleries Hampden Estate & Worthy Park.
The rum is stored in Jamaica for 15 long years in ex-bourbon casks made of American white oak.
Then the rum is given a finish in ex-port wine casks, which give the rum a unique character.
The Jamaica XO 15 Year old - T. Sonthi is made with 43.4% vol. Bottled alcohol content. It owes its dark color exclusively to the influence of the barrel - the rum was not colored.
The Jamaica XO 15 year old was slightly sweetened (less than 20g sugar per liter of pure alcohol), so it is less sweet than the two T. Sonthi qualities Barbados and Panama.
