The Barbados 10 Years - T. Sonthi is distilled from the molasses of sugar cane on the eponymous Caribbean island of Barbados.
There it was matured for 10 years in former bourbon barrels made of American white oak (American White Oak). Unusual for this blended rum is the maturing in Casks and not the typical production using the Solera process.
This creates a complex taste experience, with notes of vanilla and toffee, as well as roasted nuts. This is accompanied by notes of ripe fruit, mild spices and sweet oak.
The Barbados 10 Years - T. Sonthi is a spiced rum (rum-based spirit), as it is sweetened with 30g of sugar per liter of pure alcohol and refined.

- Nose: intense aromas of ripe vanilla pods, plus sweet Toffee and nutty aromas
