Portrait: what makes the Talisker Wilde rSeas - X Parley special

Talisker does not only stand for very good whisky. Nature and the elements of the Atlantic coast play an essential part in the creation of high-quality Talisker whiskies. 

Talisker has also set itself the goal of protecting wild nature and helping to save nature. For this reason, the cooperation with the organization Parley came about.

The result is a high-quality whisky with soft plum and raisin notes. In addition to the fruity aromas, smoke and spices, as well as the salt of the Atlantic, are clearly recognizable.

The Talisker Wilder Seas - X Parley was released in 2023 and is only available in limited quantities.

The color of this whisky is reminiscent of Amber with a slight red hue.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Talisker Wilder Seas - X Parley tastes

• Nose: The aroma of the Talisker Parlex is mild and dry, but overall full-bodied. Densely packed top notes of fruit and malt are reminiscent of a juicy malt bread with sultanas, dates and dried figs. Underneath, a slightly mineral hint of chalk provides a captivating maritime note of brine, salt crystals and ship's rails on the high seas. All this on a slightly fruity and vinous base with a hint of pipe tobacco. If you add a few drops of water, a smoky note unfolds
  
  
• Palate: The body is medium to full and the creamy-soft mouthfeel leads to a great taste experience. It starts out richly sweet and then quickly becomes salty, smoky and fruity. Lush sweet notes of sultanas and figs are felt in the mid-palate, enveloped by soaring peppery spice and smokiness. Rich and intense at natural strength, the flavor becomes slightly sweeter, fruitier and spicier when water is added
