Profile: What Makes Marzadro Grappa Diciotto Lune Botte Whisky Special
Diciotto Lune, a Grappa Stravecchia, comes from a blend of red and white grape varieties, subsequently matured for 18 months in small cherry, ash, oak and locust wood barrels. Marzadro Grappa Diciotto Lune Botte Whisky is a special edition distinguished by additional maturation in a limited number of carefully selected Scottish casks, previously used to age peated and unpeated whisky. This additional ageing highlights a more pronounced grappa-wood contrast and a peaty scent – a combination of unique sensations.
