Portrait : What defines the Dingle La Le Bride - Wheel of the Year Series
On the Dingle Peninsula in South West Ireland is Celtic heritage Noticeable to this day - thanks to the Dingle Distillery not only in the form of relics. The artisanal distilleryrevives the thousands of years of history of its homeland with a series of special bottlings.
The "Wheel of the Year"- The series is based on the Celtic wheel of the year. This solar calendar shows the time and seasons and is divided into eight sections. Dingle is releasing a limited single malt for each of them (and celebrating the traditional wren's day with a bonus whiskey on top of that).
The Samhain Single Malt marked the start of the series at the start of the Celtic New Year. With Lá le Bríde, Dingle now honors the Celtic festival of the same name, which represents the beginning of spring and the arrival of brighter, warmer days.
The Lá le Bríde Single Malt is a homage to the blossoming joie de vivre. His profile? Correspondingly lively: Here, at 50.5% vol. Honey on raspberries and biscuits as well as caramel on ginger and a hint of mint. The triple distilled Irish whiskey first matured in bourbon casks before master distiller Graham Coull rounded it off in rye casks.
