Founded in 1825, Edradour changing owners - from the New York mafia to Andrew Symington, the mastermind behind Signatory Vintage.
The production has hardly changed: Edradour works largely as in the 19th century, including with original equipment.
Distilled 18 April 2008 the single malt whisky matured over 14 years in the Grand Arome Rum cask #91, on the 26th October 2022, Edradour filled the cask to just 490 bottles.
Grand Arome Rum is only produced by a few rum distilleries, which makes it all the more exciting that Edradour also produced a Ballechin of the same age from a Grand Arome Rum Cask, here a rare comparison is possible.
