Aberlour's a'bunadh Alba matured in American oak Casks - called Quercus Alba.
The selected Casks are left natural - that is without dyes and without cold filtration, in cask strength - just "from Origin" (Gaelic: a'bunadh) - bottled.
Nose: sweet aromas of ripe apples and pears, honey and vanilla behind them
Palate: ripe citrus fruits at the beginning, followed by notes of baked apples - Almonds in the background
Finish: soft and sweet on the finish
