Douglas Laing's Master Blender lent a hand with this peated edition of the King of Scots exceptionally rich and sweet single grain whiskys with an above-average proportion of the finest matured malt whiskys selected from mainly Islay distilleries.
Nose: initially a hint of peat smoke and soft citrus peel, followed by honeycomb and ripe barley
Palate: Charred Oak and dry earth, followed by rich notes of butterscotch
Finish: now the peat smoke is clear, along with campfire ash, allspice and vanilla
