An exquisite blend was bottled for this cognac, which reflects the terroir and pays tribute to the passion of the former distillers.

This cognac was distilled on the lees to intensify the aroma of this exceptional specialty and then matured mostly for the first few years in used, medium-toasted cognac casks, but a smaller part of 20% also in new French oak casks (350 l).

This was followed by a final one-year aging in Sauternes wine casks (225 l) for 20% of the blend.

This cognac is a blend of five to seven year old cognacs and a small proportion of 25 year old cognacs.

Ugni-Blanc grapes are used, fermented for four to five days

Double distilled in pot still (25hl - Open Flame)

Nose: a fine scent of fruitcake, raisins, apricots, coconut and caramel - notes of roses, orange blossoms, nutmeg and ginger develop

Taste: an opulent cognac, round and full-bodied with foreground oak and pepper notes, which are joined by pleasant nuances of baked pear, honey, nutmeg grapes, pineapple and cloves

Finish: long finish with a hint of mint, accompanied by prunes, oranges and liquorice - vanilla and fresh tobacco are also present with a lasting effect

Eingekochte Früchte und reife Trauben, sehr süß in der Nase.
Im Geschmack folgen kräftig Karamell, Eiche und darunter Gewürze. Zimt? Peffer?
Harmonisch und reichhaltig, ein toller Schluck.
