Profile: What Makes Allesverloren Tinta Rosé Special
Allesverloren is the oldest estate in the Swartland. The vineyards lie on the south-eastern slopes of Castle Mountain near Riebeek West. The Swartland is a fashionable wine district in South Africa.
The Tinta Rosé shows ripe red strawberry fruit, nectarine and raspberry with hints of orange blossom on the nose. On the palate it is taut with finesse-rich acidity and a mineral-salty note and finishes harmoniously with a peppery, savoury character.
