Profile: What Makes Marauda Steelpan Special
An elegant premium blended rum made from selected distillates from Trinidad, Guyana and Jamaica. Each individual rum is carefully produced according to local tradition, with no additives or colouring. To achieve a particularly harmonious blended rum, Marauda Premium Rum is aged for a long time in former American bourbon casks. The result is a wonderful golden-amber rum.
Tasting Notes: What Marauda Steelpan Tastes Like
- Nose: Sweet notes of molasses and fresh sugar cane, plus caramel, dried fruit and vanilla, spicy oak and exotic spice above them
- Palate: Sweet, fruity notes, plus mild honey, vanilla and spicy notes again – tones of fresh tobacco leaf and herbs
- Finish: Medium length and warming – vanilla, spicy oak and fruit remain present
