Tasting Notes: What Knockando 15 Year Old Tastes Like
- Nose: Warm fruit, sweet-spicy, distinct nutmeg and cinnamon – behind them dark bitter chocolate and dark fruit – some sherry; oak, pear, raisins, vanilla and toffee, plus liquorice and nuts
- Palate: Now distinctly fruitier, intense notes of baked apple with raisins, then distinct sherry and some spicy oak; syrupy sweet with oranges, melon and pecan pie
