Profile: What Makes the Bulleit Tumbler Special
The fine tumbler of the whiskey brand Bulleit bears the embossed lettering “BULLEIT – Frontier Whiskey” on the front. On the back is an equally embossed 2 cl measure mark; the glass is about 10 cm tall.
The brand goes back to Augustus Bulleit, who made a high-rye whiskey in Louisville, Kentucky, between 1830 and 1860. Today’s recipe follows his original mash bill; Bulleit Bourbon is 68% corn, 28% rye and 4% malted barley and is bold and spicy with a clean, smooth finish.
