The distillery is located in Moncalieri, just outside the city of Turin - an area known for the production of fine wines and spirits.
Torino Distillati was founded in 1906 and is run by the Vergnano family - Carlo, his wife Piera and their children Rita and Valter.
Beppe Ronco and Denis Muni are the experienced master distillers.
The the most important ingredient in Malfy con Arancia are the skins of blood oranges from Sicily.
Blood oranges are very popular in Italy and are harvested in November.
Their rich red color develops on the cool nights of the Mediterranean.
The blood orange peels are placed in alcohol and then pressed.
The infusion is then mixed with juniper and other botanicals and distilled.
