Product information "Reservoir Rye Whiskey 50%vol. 0,7l"
In 2008, the two friends Jay Carpenter and Dave Cuttino founded their distillery reservoir in Richmond in the US state of Virginia.
The two wanted to "tidy up" the whiskey world - and they seem to have succeeded!
Rye- Friends make bourbon and wheat whiskey in their small batch distillery.

All three whiskeys consist of 100% only one type of grain, which is unique among American whiskeys.
The whiskeys are complex made-to-measure alligator char 20l quarter casks - each bottle is hand-sealed with wax and individually numbered.
The cereals used all come from a radius of 60 kilometers to the distillery from the Richmond fields

Intensive and spicy! Very special whiskey with an angular profile - distilled from 100% rye.

Nose: a hint of honey and creme brulee, with aromas of yeast, cardamom and cloves, a little camphor, burnt sugar and spicy cedarwood
Taste: a slight sweetness at the beginning, then floral notes and dark chocolate, followed by aniseed and peppery tones - in the background a little caramel 
Finish: dry in the finish with oak tones, strawberries and black pepper
