The elegant original copa glass of Gin Sul from Hamburg-Altona bears the brand’s lettering and logo on the front and is about 19.5 cm tall.
Gin Sul is made at the Altonaer Spirituosen Manufaktur in Hamburg and is inspired by Portugal: its 14 botanicals come mainly from the Costa Vicentina in south-western Portugal – including coriander, rosemary, allspice, lavender, cinnamon, rockrose and fresh lemons. The gin is distilled in a copper still by Arnold Holstein with a capacity of only 100 litres; the motto on the bottle is “Saudade distilled in Hamburg”.
