The Scottish Speyside distillery Mortlach produces an unbelievably complex single malt whisky with a 2.8-times distillation.
The 20 year old single malt whisky was stored in former sherry and refilled whisky casks.
Nose: complex aromas of cedarwood and ripe citrus fruits - in the background fresh cocoa beans
Taste: soft and strong in the taste with intense notes of ripe berries, again the spicy cedarwood and the cocoa
Finish: long and spicy in the finish
