Like all Glenfarclas single malts, this one also matured in former Spanish sherry casks – just a little longer than the others, over 30 years.
Tasting Notes: What Glenfarclas 30 Year Old Tastes Like
- Nose: Complex aromas with plenty of ripe fruit, full of sherry and malty tones
- Palate: The fruit again, reminiscent a little of cognac – then the sherry returns, plus nuts and marzipan, dark chocolate in the background
