The Tobermory 12 year old is a high-quality single malt whisky with an alcohol content of 46.3%vol., bottled in the classic 0.7-liter bottle. It comes from the Tobermory Distillery, the only distillery on the Scottish island of Mull, which is part of the Inner Hebrides. The distillery was founded in 1798 and looks back on a long, eventful history, marked by several closures and reopenings.
Since 2019, the 12-year-old Tobermory has been the official successor to the distillery's popular 10-year-old whisky. Its launch also marked a new beginning after a two-year production hiatus during which the distillery underwent extensive modernization. This single malt is non-chill-filtered and retains its natural color, making it particularly interesting for lovers of authentic whiskies.
Maturation takes place in carefully selected ex-bourbon casks, which give the whisky structure and depth over the years. Tobermory stands for artisanal production, a clear origin, and a close connection to Mull's maritime surroundings - a whisky with character and history, ideal for connoisseurs who appreciate Scottish distilling.

Trotz 2 Jahre mehr auf dem Buckel, nicht der Hit wie der 10-er. Dennoch ein toller Malt mit maritimer Note.

Ein außergewöhnlicher Single Malt von Tobermory, weil man zugleich süße und saure Noten wahrnehmen kann. Trotzdem irgendwie lecker!
